Organizers
We first came together at the Focusing International Conference in Costa Rica in 2004 as the Focusing and Bodywork Interest Group. We represent various disciplines including Feldenkrais, Shiatsu, Trager, Reiki, Acupuncture, Esalen Massage, Yoga, Counseling, Psychotherapy, and Dance Improvisation. We have organized our first Meeting at the Edge in May, 2007 on the island of Ischia, Italy as volunteers.
This year conference is also a non-profit, peer-led event to which we bring our dedication and passion, holding a collective vision of sharing and learning. Join our Forum and help us to create MAE 2009.

Jack Blackburn, Trager practitioner, Master's in theological studies, Focusing trainer, registered counselor, specializes in body centered spiritual growth and healing. He teaches continuing education classes to bodyworkers and other caregiving professionals. Website: www.presencingsource.com.
Francesca Castaldi is a Focusing Trainer, anthropologist, and somatic practioner teaching in California and her native city of Milano. She sees Focusing as a form of improvisation with the larger dance of life, and she is developing the integration of Focusing with touch, movement, and sound into a form she calls Contactful Focusing.
